How pricing works

Sized to what you operate.
Not your seat count.

Per-asset class, not per-seat.

Per-user pricing penalizes the operations team for being on the platform — the people who should be using it the most. Velaurum prices on what you operate, so the floor and the boardroom can both be on the system without the bill multiplying.

Annual contract, no surprise renewals.

Annual term with mid-year usage adjustments only on the upside (acquired a company, expanded a region). No renewal-time surprise tier jumps.

Implementation is included on Operate and Scale.

We don't bill separately for getting you live. The initial configuration, vocabulary mapping, and integration setup are part of the tier — billable hours start only on customizations beyond the standard rollout.

Honest about when we're not a fit.

If you're a 20-asset single-site operation with no audit obligation, we'll tell you the spreadsheet-and-ERP combo is genuinely the right call. Pricing is conversational because the fit isn't always obvious from a form.

The questions we get most.

Can we start on Foundation and add capabilities later?
Yes. The platform is one product; tiers are about which capabilities are licensed. Adding a tier is a configuration change, not a migration.
Is there a free trial or pilot?
Yes — most engagements start with a 60-day pilot scoped to one operating area. We agree the success criteria before the pilot starts so the renewal decision is data-driven, not a guess.
How long does implementation take?
First capability live in 2–4 weeks for Foundation, 4–8 weeks for Operate, 8–12 weeks for Scale (multi-region). The polymorphic asset model means no schema work is required for new asset classes.
Do you have non-profit or public-sector pricing?
Yes. Tell us about your operation and we'll discuss appropriate terms.
Can we self-host?
Not currently. The platform is cloud-native on Azure. Bring-your-own-region and bring-your-own-key are available on Scale tier.
What happens to our data if we leave?
Full export available on request, in standard formats (CSV, JSON, Parquet). No data lock-in. The append-only ledger means your full history is exportable, not just the latest snapshot.
